TPP Roundtable discussion: Novelties of the Criminal Code of Kosovo

On January 12 and 26, 2013, KJI in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Prishtina, the Department of Justice and the Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development Assistance and Training (OPDAT) conducted the next training session on the topic “Novelties of Criminal Code of Kosovo”.
During the training were introduced different aspects according to chapters from the general and special part of the Criminal Code which entered into force on January 1, 2013. In particular were addressed chapters including fines, confiscation, crimes against humanity, crimes against life and body, human rights and freedom, marriage and family, sexual integrity, economy, wealth and many other criminal offenses.

Beneficiaries of this training were 70 judges, prosecutors, lawyers and police officers from the region of Gjilan and Prizren.
