Workshop on Designing a Professional Ethics module

On September 27-28, 2019, the Academy of Justice with the support of GIZ conducted a workshop on the design of the Professional Ethics training module.

The purpose of the workshop was to finalize the Professional Ethics training module. This training module will be used during the mandatory training of judges on professional ethics.

During the workshop was presented the content of the module and sub modules, as well as the design of this training material. The training module will contain parts of the code of ethics, liability offenses and disciplinary measures as well as disciplinary procedures.

From the discussions and interactivity during the workshop, was emphasized that the training module should include examples from case law and that the training should focus more on practical cases.

Participants in this workshop were the trainers of the Academy of Justice who are engaged in the design of this module, KJCS staff (former ODC), representatives from the Academy of Justice and representatives of GIZ.
