On 16 April 2009, Kosovo Judicial Institute in cooperation with the USAID/NCSC (Kosovo Justice Support Program) conducted the roundtable discussion under the topic: “Judicial and Prosecutorial Ethics in Kosovo”. A detailed analysis on the extensive interpretation of principles and rules of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for Judges and Prosecutors was conducted during this training.The conclusion drawn out of the discussion and treatment of practical cases was that judges and prosecutors are not only bound to respect and apply the code of ethics, but also provide a valuable contribution in promoting the public confidence as one the main priorities for the rule of law.
The beneficiaries of the respective training were: judges, prosecutors and professional associates from all regions of Kosovo.
