Legal Writing and Reasoning

On February 11-12 2013, KJI in cooperation with USAID / EROL conducted a two-day training on the topic “Legal Writing and Reasoning”.
The purpose of the training was to establish best practices regarding drafting and full reasoning of the most qualitative judicial in terms of law and spelling rules.
During this training were presented and discussed the content, significance and types of legal writing as well as the importance of the legal reasoning. The ç-l-a-p method (otherwise known as IRAC) as well as the identification of the disadvantages of the judicial decisions was also on the focus of this training.
Beneficiaries of this training were Judges of the Appeal Court and two judges from the Basic Court Minor Offence Department.
