On 25, 26 September 2009, the Kosovo Judicial Institute, supported by the UNDP, conducted the two-day seminar under the topic “Law on Non-contested Procedure”. The subjects that were treated in the course of the respective event focused on the content of the new Law on Non-contested Procedure, such as the issues related to the following topics: General overview of the novelties, administration and utilization of common wealth, division of items and real estates under the co-ownership, inheritance review, announcement of disappearance or death of persons, proving of the cause of death, determination of landmarks and compensation for the expropriated land. A special attention was paid to the practical approach of judges in the application of the respective law. The purpose of this seminar was to draw concrete explanations and suggestions on the new provisions of theof the LNCP, the beneficiaries of which were civil law judges.
