On 12 and 13 May 2020, within the Initial Training Program, two (2) training sessions are taking place under the sub module: "Defendant in criminal procedure", with the trainer Mrs. Tonka Berisha-Judge at the Court of Appeals.
Topics covered in these sessions are: Defendant as a subject of criminal proceedings, declaration of the defendant as evidence, his rights and obligations during criminal proceedings, restriction of the rights of the defendant during criminal proceedings and interrogation of the defendant during criminal proceedings.
These trainings are being conducted in a virtual form, where, the newly appointed judges had the opportunity to talk and ask questions about the topics that are being addressed.
Participants in the training are 37 newly appointed judges of the generation VII 2019-2020, where seven of them are from the Serbian community.
