On May 18, 2020, within the Initial Training Program, a (1) training session is being held by the following sub module: "Defendant in criminal procedure", with the trainer Mrs. Tonka Berishaj-Judge at the Court of Appeals.
The training focused on: The position of the defendant after the filing and during the procedure of confirmation of the indictment, the position of the defendant after the filing of the indictment and the defendant during the procedure for assessing the legality of the indictment.
During the training, which is taking place in a virtual form, the newly appointed judges had the opportunity to talk and ask questions about the topics that are being addressed.
Participants in the training are 37 newly appointed judges of the generation VII 2019-2020, where seven of them are from the Serbian community.
