Educational measures and punishments

On September 8, 2020, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program is conducting training through the Zoom platform on the: "Educational measures and punishments".

Trainers engaged in this training are: Mr. Rasim Rasimi, Judge of the Supreme Court and Mr. Ramadan Gashi, Permanent Trainer at the Academy of Justice.

The purpose of this training is to advance the participants' knowledge on the educational measures that contribute to the rehabilitation and adequate development of the juvenile offenders, by providing protection, assistance and supervision.

This training will focus on the identification of conditions for the imposition of measures and sentences, evaluation of the role of imposing measures for the education of the juvenile, including sentences and the proper implementation of legal provisions governing this area.

During this training are being elaborated: Educational measures and punishments that can be imposed on juveniles, conditions that must be met for imposing an educational measure or sentences on juveniles, determining the duration of educational measures and the sentences imposed on juveniles.

The methodology applied was of a combined nature, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges and prosecutors from the Juvenile Department.
