September 30 – October 1 2020, Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program in cooperation with the US Justice Department/ OPDAT is conducting an online workshop on Zoom platform on the topic of “Enhancing confiscation of illicit property”.
Experts engaged for this workshop are Mr. Shqipdon Fazliu, national Coordinator for Commercial Crimes, and Mr. Corey Smith, Resident Legal Advisor in US DoJ/ OPDAT.
Purpose of this workshop is to extend the prosecutors and police knowledge on confiscation of criminally acquired property.
Training methodology is joint work of prosecutors and police on a hypothetical case that is treated as if real case.
Beneficiaries of this training are Prosecutors that have been assigned as confiscation coordinators, prosecutors of the Prizren Basic Prosecutions Office, as well as Police investigators
