March 9 2021, Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program is conducting a training on Zoom platform on the topic of “Compensation of victims of crimes within the legal system in the Republic of Kosovo”.
Trainers engaged in this activity are: Ms. Benina Kusari, legal expert in the US Embassy/ OPDAT, and Mr. Isuf Jahmurataj, Expert of the Crimes Victim Compensation Area.
Purpose of this training is to extend the participants knowledge on the changes and enhancement of the legislation on compensating crime victims, for the fact that the judges and prosecutors are those who apply this legislation that the victim has access to justice and accomplish this constitutional and legal right.
The training methodology is combined with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.
Beneficiaries of this training are judges, prosecutors and professional associates.
