June 3 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training program for the eights generation of the newly appointed judges is conducting a theoretical training from the Sub-module on ECHR, with Trainer Mr. Skëder Çoçaj, Chairman of the Kosovo Judicial Council.
This training is covering the following: the ne-bis-in-idem Principle, and the Convention for Implementing the Schengen agreement, as well as the “ne bis idem” principle in the legislation of the Republic of Kosovo.
Training methodology is combining practical cases as well as interactive discussions on issues related to Article 4 of the ECHR. The training is being held physically at the AJ premises and attended by 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are of the Serbian community.
