Sub-module: Reasoning of judgments, session four; Topic: Structure and content of the reasoning of judgments

June 10 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the eighth generation of newly appointed judges is conducting the theoretical training from the sub-module on “Reasoning of Judgments – civil area”, with Trainer Mr. Albert Zogaj, judge of the Supreme Court.

This training session will elaborate on the aspects below: instructions for writing and reasoning the judgment, the requests of the parties (as part of the content of the reasoning), the facts submitted and the evidence proposed by the parties, specification of which of such facts have been established, and the reasons why those facts and the provisions of substantive law which have been applied in the issuance of the judgment have been established.

Training methodology is applying practical cases using the interactive method and extending knowledge related to legal writing. The training is taking place physically at the academy’s premises and is also available online.  Beneficiaries of this training are the 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are of the Serbian community.
