October 8 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges (generation 8) is conducting a theoretical training from the sub-module on “Criminal Code – general part” with trainer Mr. Blerim Isufaj, Chief prosecutor in the Special Prosecutors Office.
This training session is covering the following aspects: Mistake on object that has to do with a person (errors in persona), mistake of fact in the narrow sense and the casual link, mistake of fact in the wider sense, the attempt, causes that justify the punishment for attempt, criminal offences in which the attempt is not possible, punishment for inappropriate attempt, and the inappropriate attempt in the Criminal Code of the republic of Kosovo.
The training methodology is applying practical cases combined with interactive discussions. The training is taking place in combined form, with physical presence at the AJ premises, as well as online via the Zoom platform. Beneficiaries of this training are the 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are of the Serbian community.
