Sub-module - State Prosecutor, defense counsel for the injured party and the defendant as a party in the criminal procedure, first session, topic - "State Prosecutor"

On October 19, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the module "Code of Criminal Procedure-State Prosecutor, defense counsel for the injured party and the defendant as a party in criminal proceedings,” with trainer Mr. Besim Kelmendi, Prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.

In the framework of this second session, the following topics are being addressed: The role of the prosecutor in initiating criminal proceedings, cooperation and public relations, the role of the state prosecutor after receiving the criminal report and the obligations of the state prosecutor to protect witnesses and injured parties. The training methodology that is being applied consist of practical cases as well as interactive discussions.

The training is being conducted in a combined way, in person at the Academy of Justice, implementing all measures against the COVID-19 virus.

Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
