In-depth overview of the Bankruptcy Procedure

On December 3, 2021, the Academy of Justice, in collaboration with Checchi & Company Consulting Inc., as the implementer of the Commercial Law Program within the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is continuing to develop pilot training in commercial law, more precisely on: "In-depth overview of the Bankruptcy Procedure"

This training comes as a continuation of the process of recruiting Trainers in the Commercial field, and fulfilling the curriculum and pilot training provided, which is also the last pilot training that concludes the process of recruiting trainers, after a 1-year process.

The purpose of the training is for the participants to gain more extensive knowledge about the Bankruptcy Procedure Law and the interpretation of its provisions, as well as to understand the scope of the Bankruptcy Procedure Law.

Also during the training will be discussed issues of public enterprises, bankruptcy claims, liquidation proceedings, differences between bankruptcy proceedings and liquidation, etc.

The training is taking place virtually through the ZOOM platform, as a result of security measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beneficiaries of this training are Judges of the civil division, Judges of the economic department, as well as their professional associates.
