Training program in non-judicial institutions, visit of the newly appointed judges in the Institute of Forensic Medicine

On January 24 2022, Academy of Justice within its practical training at non-judicial institutions for the newly appointed judges conducted a visit at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Within the list of non-judicial institutions to be visited was also the Institute of Forensic Medicine during which Dr. Musa Gashi addressed the newly appointed judges welcoming them at the institute, and appraised this visit and cooperation with the Academy of Justice.  Mr. Gashi further continued presenting the mandate and challenges of this institution.

 

The judges were acquainted with the forensic expertise in the service of justice bodies, objects of forensic expertise, forensic investigation in the service of law, technical-scientific methods of investigation as well as forensic reasoning and judgment. The examination of corpses, the examination of living persons, the examination of material evidence and the examination of case materials were also addressed.

The judges also had the opportunity to see closely the toxicology lab and the autopsy rooms.

Beneficiaries of this training are the newly appointed judges (generation VIII) two of who are of the Serbian community.
