On 06 November 2014, Kosovo Judicial Institute within the Continuous Training Program (CTP) conducted training on civil field: “Joint litigants and intermediaries”.
During this training were presented issues dealing with joint litigant institute and its types, impact of the litigant procedural actions, participation of the third parties in civil litigation and intercessors in the procedure, types of intermediators and effect of a judgment against joint litigants and intermediates.
This session was organized in order to facilitate and support judges in assessing the role and effect of joint litigants actions and intermediaries in the procedure and implement legal provisions regarding the participation of third parties in the contested procedure
The training was conducted interactively where judges discussed issues and dilemmas faced during practice and differences emerged between different regions regarding certain practices in this field.
Beneficiaries of this training were Judges of Basic and Appeal Court.
