On December 2, 2014, Kosovo Judicial Institute within the Continuous Training Program conducted training for judges on "Ownership”.
The aim of this training was to elaborate due to inherited problems in the area of property protection and help judges to properly implement legislation regarding protection of property.
This training focused on issues of change and reform in respective legislation, protection of property as a fundamental human right that is protected in addition to local legislation and international conventions
Also during this session was discussed about the manner of acquisition of ownership, permissions and limitations of the owner, the characteristics of ownership and registration of property rights.
The training was conducted in an interactive form followed with discussions by judges who presented the problems faced during their practical work.
Beneficiaries of the training were judges of the Basic Court and the Appellate Court and the General Department for Administrative Affairs.
