Kosovo Judicial Institute within its Continuous Training Program conducted training on “Grounds for claiming inheritance” that took place on February 16th 2015.
Main goal of this training was to help the participants in better understanding and resolution of legal provisions related to grounds for claiming inheritance and identify legal terms for validity of the will.
During the training the following were elaborated: main grounds for claiming inheritance, like inheritance by law and by will as a last will of the descendant, legal order of heirs and the right of representation as hereditary right in the second row of heritage.
It was also discussed about challenges in determining the quantity and contract for the compulsory part as well as persons entitled to this right.
The training was delivered through practical assignments and interactive discussions by the participants related to actual problems they face and unification of case law.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges of basic instance and legal associates.
