On July 5, 2022, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the United States Embassy - OPDAT office in Kosovo and the OPDAT regional office in Croatia, is conducting a three (3) day Workshop for the certification of AJ Trainers in the Criminal field.
This initiative, called the Training of Trainers Program (ToT Program), was created with the need to complement AJ's efforts to strengthen education and training programs.
During the workshop, participants will learn to design interactive training programs, including the following: (1) analyze audience and adult learning needs; (2) design effective and engaging training activities; (3) develop useful materials and extracts; (4) organize and hold training workshops; and (5) assess participant satisfaction and application of knowledge and skills.
Special emphasis will be paid to improving the presentation skills of participants, regardless of experience level.
The certification course is organized in accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Academy of Justice for the certification of its trainers.
The trainers of this workshop are 2 international experts:
• Ameet Kabrawala - Resident Legal Advisor at the OPDAT Office in Croatia;
• Jelena Firic - Legal Counsel, OPDAT office at the US Embassy in Croatia.
Beneficiaries and participants in the workshop are Judges, Prosecutors and other external trainers who serve as trainers at the Academy of Justice in the Criminal field.
