Cybercrime

On 30 April 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute within CTP conducted a training on: “Cybercrime”.

This training aimed to deepening theoretical and practical knowledge of judges and prosecutors regarding criminal offenses with elements of cybercrime as a phenomenon that is increasingly growing, as well as creating best and effective practices in combating cybercrime.

Issues addressed in this training focused primarily on domestic legislation, in particular on the law and procedures which prevent cybercrime and international legislation that covers this area. In this context, were elaborated international cooperation, threats, trends and challenges in combating cybercrime.

On the occasion the official from training on Cybercrime Department from Kosovo Police informed judges and prosecutors related to the work and challenges of the department in the fight against cybercrime.

Participants through practical cases discussed and posed questions on topics elaborated during the training.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges and prosecutors of basic level.
