On 11 June 2015, Kosovo Judicial Institute in cooperation with OSCE mission in Kosovo, conducted a training on “Initial and second hearing”.
The purpose of this training was to establish best practices toward proper application of provisions relating to initial and second hearing
This training was a continuation of first session held on March 2015, where were addressed “request for dropping off indictment”, where as a result of this training was presented the need to draft a module on initial and second hearing. On this training has been presented the content of this manual which according to the trainers contained the basic knowledge on subjects, actions and procedural terms, as well as other issues related to the respective procedural phases.
During the training were given different examples of submitting requests and judicial decisions.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges, prosecutors, and lawyers, professional associates of courts and prosecution as well as students from Peja region.
