Organised Crime

On 23-24 February 2016, within Continuous Training Program (CTP), KJI conducted two days training on: “Organize Crime”.

The purpose of this training was to provide knowledge on characteristics and forms of organized crime as complex offenses, challenges and best eventual practices of the institutions responsible for combating and preventing organized crime as one of the severe crimes that constitute a serious threat to the rule of law.       

The training focused on the elaboration of national and international legislation regulating this field, the concept of organized crime, the elements of the offenses of organized crime, main forms of criminal offenses of organized crime, categories of perpetrators with the special emphasis on organized economic crimes. Furthermore, were discussed the investigation of organized economic crimes, planning of financial investigations, measures and actions, common techniques and special investigative techniques, modern methods of integrated financial investigations, including direct and indirect method of proving.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges of basic and appeal level, as well as Kosovo police investigators.
