On October 10, 2022, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Program, for newly appointed judges of ninth generation judges for the first group, is conducting the theoretical training, under the "KEDNJ" module, with the trainer engaged Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judge at the Court of Appeal
In the framework of this session, the following are being addressed: Article 5 par.1 of the ECHR - Presumption in favor of freedom, what constitutes a deprivation of freedom, the types of detention according to par. 1 of Article 5 of the ECHR and Article 1 of protocol no. 4 of the ECHR.
The training methodology is being developed through the interactive discussion and practical cases.
Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges, of which two are from the Serbian community.
