Sub-module – Alternative procedures, second session: Conditions when prosecution is not mandatory (Article 231)

On October 28, 2022, as part of the initial training program for the newly appointed judges of the ninth generation, the first group is being given theoretical training under the "Alternative Procedures" module with the trainer engaged Mr. Agim Maliqi, Judge at the Supreme Court.

In the framework of this session, the following are being addressed: the conditions when the prosecution is not mandatory and when the state prosecutor is not obliged to start the criminal prosecution or can waive the prosecution.

The training methodology is being implemented with practical cases as well as with the interactive method.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges, where two of them are from the Serbian community.
