November 23 2022, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training program for the newly appointed judges is conducting the theoretical training from the sub-module on ECHR, with trainer Mr. Skënder Çoçaj, judge in the Appeals Court.
This training session is covering the following: procedural guarantees in cases of deprivation of liberty, arrest of a suspect for commission of a criminal offence, Article 5 of the ECHR and its application in Kosovo, as well as violation cases of the ECHR Article 5 in Kosovo.
Training methodology is interactive discussions and practical cases.
Beneficiaries of the training are 18 newly appointed judges.
