Sub-module – Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings, session three - Understanding the cooperating witness

On December 16, 2022, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed judges of the ninth generation for the second group, is conducting theoretical training under the module "Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings" with trainer engaged Mr. Valon Kurtaj, judge at the Basic Court in Pristina-Special Department.

In the framework of the first training session under the module "Witnesses and victims in criminal proceedings", the following are being addressed: the procedure of declaring a cooperating witness, evocation of the declaration of a cooperating witness, protection of witnesses and victims, the order for protective measures, order for protective measures (procedure) and order for anonymity from the defendant.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 18 newly appointed judges.
