The visit of the Magistrate School of Albania

On 06-07 April 2017, due to the regular cooperation, the Academy of Justice hosted a working visit of the highest representatives of Magistrate School of the Republic of Albania and other experts of the judicial area.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation was hosted by Acting Director of the Academy Mr. Besim Morina, together with the heads of departments. The Director informed closely the representatives of the Magistrate school with the transformation process of the Kosovo Judicial Institute into Academy of Justice, the organization, functions and competences based on the Law on the Academy of Justice  

The purpose of this visit is the intensification of the cooperation between two judicial training institutions, as well as exchange of experiences in overcoming the challenges faced especially in judicial reform stages. In this regard, Directors of the respective institutions expressed their readiness and willingness for further engagement in drafting concrete exchange programs of judges and prosecutors, including the trainers of both institutions.

According to the agenda, the delegation held meetings with the representatives of judicial instututions, where were hosted by Mr. Blerim Isufaj, Head of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and Mr. Hasan Shala President of the Appeal Court.

The Delegation of the Magistrate School also conducted meeting with the Heads of the Initial Training and Continuous Training, where were informed about the training process of judges and prosecutors, in particular the newly appointed once, as well as the flow of the continuous training.
