On October 15th 2018, representatives of the Academy of Justice hosted a group pf 11 students from the University of Mitrovica, acquainting them closely with the functioning and activities of the Academy of Justice.
In this meeting, the students were provided a general overview of the Kosovo’s justice system, the role and mandate of the Academy of Justice, with focus on the legal education area, in which light they were explained about the initial training for newly appointed judges and prosecutors, the continuous training program, as well as other issues related to the work of the Academy.
On the other hand, the students expressed that this visit at the Academy of Justice is very important, and showed their interest to obtain more knowledge about the judicial system in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the work of the Academy of Justice.
This visit was enabled with the support of GIZ and the Nongovernmental organization ACDC.
