Conclusion of the initial training program for newly appointed judges

Pristina, October 29th 2018 – the newly appointed judges/ sixth generation have completed the 12 months initial training organized by the Academy of Justice.

This generation of judges has undertaken the initial training commencing on September 29 2017 until October 29 2018. The Initial training was carried out based on training modules that are part of the Initial Training Program approved by the Managing Board of the Academy, like: the National and international legal order; Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, the Civil, Administrative and Commercial Laws, Personal and inter-disciplinary skills, legislation and additional skills, as well as the distance learning.

During these twelve months, 223 training sessions were delivered, or 120 days of theoretical training, and 107 days of practical training. Also, based on the training program, additional 18 visits and practical training program were conducted in non-judicial institutions, which work is closely related with the work of courts.

Beneficiaries of this training were the 49 newly appointed judges.
