Defendant in the criminal procedure

On February 21 2019, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges (generation VI), is delivering training from the module on Criminal Procedure Code, the sub-module defendant in the criminal procedure.

Topics to be covered in this training are: distinction of the shortened criminal procedure from the regular procedure in relation to measures for ensuring presence of the defendant in the proceeding; procedure for issuing the order; procedure for issuing and requesting international legal assistance, specifics of the position of the defendant during the shortened procedure compared to the regular criminal procedure, and the procedure for issuing the sanctioning order, practical exercises, etc.

Beneficiaries of this training are the newly appointed judges of the sixth generation 2017-2018.
