On April 16-19 2019 in Durrës in Albania, Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program with the support of OSCE is organizing training for prosecutors of Mitrovica region on the following topic: “challenges of the prosecutors of this region and Criminal Code with emphasis on new provisions of legislative changes”.
Issues to be addressed to be addressed in this training are mainly related to challenges in daily work of prosecutors of Mitrovica region from integration of Serbian minority, new provisions of Criminal Code: Domestic violence and sexual harassment, experiences from monitoring domestic violence cases, new provisions of the Criminal Code: Chapter XXXIII, official corruption and criminal offences against official duty, challenges in prosecution of crimes and misuse of the official duty or authority, conflict of interest and misuse of the duty and experiences from monitoring of corruption cases.
This training will elaborate on the aforementioned issues by using study cases from the case law and work in groups.
Beneficiaries of this training are prosecutors from Mitrovica region.
