On February 19-20, 2013, KJI with the support by GIZ held a two-day training on the topic “Administrative Law”. The main purpose of this training was to advance the knowledge of judges in the administrative department of the Basic Court in Prishtina and of the Court of Appeal in the field of administrative procedure and conflict.
This training addressed issues dealing with administrative procedures, administrative act, procedure and court decisions in administrative disputes as well as the administrative jurisprudence in the EU and the case law of the ECHR. Meanwhile, were addressed also the dilemmas and the non-harmony of the provisions of the Law on Administrative Procedure and the Law on Administrative Disputes regarding administrative procedures and administrative disputes. This training was followed by group work and interactive debate of the participants. The beneficiaries of this training were the judges in the administrative departments of the Court of Appeal and the Basic Court in Prishtina.
