CLEP Training: “Verification and Rejection of Paternity and Maternity”

On July 2, 2012, KJI conducted a training session on the topic: “Verification and rejection of paternity and maternity”.

As a result of this training participants will be able to:

• Develop properly the procedure for the verification and rejection of paternity and maternity; 
• Identify differences between the verification of paternity and maternity when dealing with marital and extramarital children; 
• Demonstrate skills in compiling a decision after the completion of the procedure upon the verification and rejection of paternity and maternity. 

On focus of this training were the general provisions of the Family Law and the proper implementation of provisions dealing with the procedure regarding the verification and rejection of paternity and maternity. During the training were presented also cases from the practice of judges in order to exchange experiences and to eliminate the dilemmas that arise in practice. 

Beneficiaries of this training were judges of the municipal and minor offence level from all the regions of Kosovo.
