May 13-14 2020, Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program, in cooperation with the EU funded project “Support to Civil Code - Stage 2” is conducting training on the following topic: “Main hearing and proving means”. Trainers engaged for this training are Mr. Shukri Sylejmani – Judge at the Supreme Court, Mr. Atdhe Berisha – Judge at the Basic Court of Prizren, Mr. Enver Hasani – former President of the Constitutional Court, and Mr. Haxhi Gashi - Dean at the University of Prishtina’s Law Faculty.
Purpose of this training is advancing the participant’s professional knowledge on the main hearing and obtaining evidence as important stage in the contested procedure.
Focus of this training is on the following: what actions shall be taken in the main hearing, what are the actions and authorizations of the court in the main hearing, identification of proving means in civil procedure.
This training elaborates also on: Summoning and conducting main hearing, proving means and obtaining of evidence, types of proving means in the contested procedure, burden of proof in the contested procedure and insuring evidence (preliminary proof).
Training methodology is based on interactive discussion elaborating also on various cases from the practice.
Beneficiaries of this training are: judges and prosecutors of the Basic instance.
