CERTIFICATE AWARD CEREMONY for successful participants of the Council of Europe Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) online course on Violence against Women and Domestic Violence.

This event is organized by the Kosovo Academy of Justice and the Council of Europe Office in Pristina, in the framework of the project "Reinforcing the fight against violence against women and domestic violence - phase II".

When: 24 September 2020, from 13.00 to 14.00 at the Kosovo Academy of Justice

The Kosovo Academy of Justice and the Council of Europe project on ‘’Reinforcing the fight against violence against women and domestic violence - phase II’’  earlier this year organised a training on Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) on Violence against Women and Domestic Violence for thirty six (36)  judges, prosecutors, lawyers, police and victims’ advocates involved in combating violence against women and domestic violence.

The HELP course is a high-quality human rights training that aims to enable legal professionals to be more responsive to the needs of victims of violence against women and domestic violence while utilizing important standards of the Istanbul Convention within the national jurisdictions and ECtHR practices.

Upon successful completion of the HELP training, on Thursday, 24 September 2020 at the premises of the Kosovo Academy of Justice, it is planned that a small certificate award ceremony takes place. This event will feature welcoming remarks from Frank Power, the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Pristina and Enver Fejzullahu, the Director of Justice Academy, whereas few successful participants of HELP Course on VAW and DV with receive certificates and share their experiences from attending this training.

Please note that due to the situation with pandemics Covid-19, only a limited number of participants can attend this award ceremony.
