April 21 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training for newly appointed judges –generation VIII, is conducting theoretical training from the sub-module on the Family Law, with trainer Mr. Valon Totaj, judges at the Appeals Court.
This training session is covering the following sub-topics: definition of the domestic violence, protection measures against domestic violence, judicial protection against domestic violence and the applicable legal provisions according to the Law on Protection from Domestic Violence.
The training methodology is being applied through practical cases and through conversation. After the decision to release the measures, the training is being carried out physically in the Academy, respecting the protocol and the decision about preventive measures as online, but there is also the possibility through the "ZOOM" platform. Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
