On March 11, 2013, KJI organized a roundtable discussion addressing the topic of “covert and technical measures of investigation and surveillance”.
During this workshop were discussed issues regarding covert and technical measures of investigation and surveillance which are ordered by the prosecutor and those which are ordered by the judge of the preliminary procedure as well as procedures for the application of these measures. The training was conducted through short theoretical presentations, discussion of examples from practice and recommendations were issued for the practical application of these measures. Primary attention was paid to the novelties of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as their application in practice.
The beneficiaries of this roundtable were judges of the basic courts as well as prosecutors of basic prosecution offices from all regions of Kosovo.
