On June 17-18, 2021, the Academy of Justice in the framework of the Continuing Training Program in cooperation with the JUFREX project - Strengthening judicial expertise on media freedom in Southeast Europe is conducting training through the Zoom platform on "Training on protection of journalists”.
Trainers engaged in this training are Mrs. Habibe Salihu, prosecutor in the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo and Mr. Sultan Dobraj, judge at the Basic Court in Peja, Deçan branch and Mrs. Flutura Kusari, Council of Europe Expert,
The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding the positive role, structure and obligations from Article 10 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR).
The training methodology is based on case studies from the ECtHR case law, accompanied by interactive discussions by participants.
Beneficiaries of this training are prosecutors from the Basic Prosecution Offices and officials from the Kosovo Police.
