On 20 March 2014, KJI in cooperation with the Kosovo Property Agency conducted practical training with candidates of fifth generation of the Initial Training Program (ITP).
Purpose of this training was to provide knowledge about the work and activities conducted by the Kosovo Property Agency to the candidates for judges and prosecutors who attend the ITP program. The knowledge obtained from this institution will serve the candidates in their future practice to improve the quality of work and increase cooperation between judges and prosecutors and Kosovo Property Agency.
Issues that were discussed during the training had to do with resolving property disputes, property reports disturbances in Kosovo after the war, migration of people, and the inability of courts to solve disputes with the fair proceedings, requirements and implementation of decisions, deportation - court representation and procedures after eviction and other matters related to the ownership that were on the interest of candidates
During the training were raised and answered different questions and at the end of it the candidates treated practical cases taken from the respective Agency
The training was attended by 18 candidates for the position of judge and 11 candidates for prosecutor.
