CTP Roundtable: “Legal Writing and Reasoning”

On March 26, 2013, KJI conducted a seminar on the topic: “Legal Writing and Reasoning”. This roundtable is supported by USAID - Effective Rule of Law Program. The main purpose of this workshop was to enhance the knowledge of judges in the field of practical application of modern methods of legal writing and reasoning in resolving legal issues.

During this workshop were addressed topics related to the: IRAC Methodology (English abbreviation) which presents a four-step analytical process, the application of this method in practical judicial cases and case studies. This roundtable will affect on the participants to develop a flow of logical structured actions which resolve disputes and standardization of forms of legal writing which will improve the quality of legal reasoning in the entire system of justice. The roundtable was accompanied by practical case review and resolution of certain tasks in this area.
The beneficiaries of this roundtable were Supreme Court judges.
