Sub module – Criminal Procedural Code – the role of the judge in the pre-trial procedure, second session, topic: The role of the judge in the pre-trial procedure in determining and continuing the measures for ensuring the presence of the defendant in the criminal procedure”

On 13 October 2021, within the initial training program for newly appointed judges, generation 8 a theoretical training is being conducted under the module: “Criminal Procedural Code – the Role of the judge in pretrial procedure” with the trainer Mr. agim Maliqi, Judge of the Supreme Court.

The following topics are being addressed in this session: Competence of the pre-trial judge, decisions on freezing and temporary seizure of assets and competencies, as well as the role of the pre-trial judge. The training methodology consist of practical cases and interactive discussions.  

The training is being carried out in person at the Academy of Justice, implementing all measures against the COVID-19 virus.

Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
