October 21 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges (generation 8) is conducting a theoretical training from the sub-module on “Criminal Procedure Code – Witnesses and injured party on criminal proceeding” with trainer Mr. Valon Kurtaj judge at the Special Department of the Prishtina Basic Court.
This training session is covering the following: Understanding of the witness in general, witnesses in a criminal trial, types of witnesses in general and according to the CPCRK and the testimony of the witness in the main trial.
The training methodology that is being applied consist of practical cases as well as interactive discussions. The training is being conducted in person at the Academy of Justice, implementing all measures against the COVID-19.
Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
