On November 26th 2014, the KJI within its Training Program for Promotion conducted training for newly appointed prosecutors in Basic Prosecutions of Kosovo on “Legal writing and reasoning”.
Purpose of this training session was establishment of best practices in drafting and complete reasoning of decisions and other acts using IRAC method.
This training discussed about the content and importance of legal writing and reasoning, and on advantages of IRAC method (identifying the Issue, Rule, Analysis and Conclusion) in correct implementation of justice and writing and comprehensive reasoning of decisions and other acts that prosecutors are obliged to issue during their work.
Trainers while providing practical case studies suggested using simple, short and concrete sentences with well organized paragraphs.
Beneficiaries of this training were newly appointed prosecutors in Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj and Gjakova.
