Case management

On November 19th 2014, the KJI within its Training Program for Promotion delivered training on “Case Management” that was provided to newly appointed prosecutors.

Main goal of this training was to acquaint the recently appointed prosecutors with techniques, strategies and best practices of management for successful performance of their entrusted duties.

Topics covered at this training mainly were related to issues, challenges and difficulties and causes of delays, as well as possibilities available for Kosovo prosecutions to overcome them adequately for efficient case management.

This training presented and discussed various cases from the case law which presented examples of poor management. In order to contribute to an efficient management it was suggested that prosecutors apply planning, organization and continuous control.

Beneficiaries of this training were newly appointed prosecutors of Basic Prosecutions in Prishtina, Gjilan, Ferizaj and Gjakova.
