On 04 December 2014, Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted training on: “Impact of European Union Law into National Law”.
This training aimed to increase professional development of judges in distinguishing the sources of European law, identify the impact of EU law into national law and assess the supremacy- characteristics of European law to local governments.
Among the objectives of the training was also the knowledge of the law and European Union institutions, harmonization of national laws with those of EU and practical implementation of this legislation.
During this training were discussed issues related to the effects and implementation of EU law into national law, in particular the constitutional system of Kosovo Republic, structure and development of European Community, European Union Court, the procedure of preliminary decision, forms of the decision by which the courts should refer to the European Court etc.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges from all levels
