Family law and domestic violence

On September 13, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with EULEX, within the Continuous Training Program, are conducting the training from the Basic Module for professional associates and legal officers in the civil field on the topic "Family law and domestic violence". Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. Valon Totaj, President of the Court of Appeal and Mr. Ademi Faton, judge at the Court of Appeal. Purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge regarding Matrimony, resolution of matrimony, the procedure for resolving marital disputes, temporary measures, the means of striking in these disputes, the protection of children's rights in marital - family disputes as well as domestic violence - changes according to the new Law. The applied methodology was of a combined character, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions. Beneficiaries of this training are Professional associates and legal officers from all courts of Kosovo.
