On 27 January 2015, KJI in cooperation with NICO organized publication of presentation “General guideline on procedural measures for witness protection”.
The team consisted of local and international experts who have developed these guidelines, presented to the attendees the goal of designing these guidelines, and contribution of this publication in efforts to enhance activities related to procedural measures in the field of witness protection.
There was also emphasized the role of proper implementation of procedural measures of witness protection, this element makes the criminal procedure more effective and simultaneously raises confidence in justice institutions.
Participants in this presentation were presidents of courts and Chief prosecutors, judges and prosecutors of basic level from different regions of Kosovo, as well as officials from the Kosovo Police and EULEX.
