On September 07-08, 2022, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the EU Support for Intellectual Property Rights in Kosovo, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting a training on: "Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights".
Trainers engaged in this training are Dr. Ioannis Kikkis, Lead Expert, EU IPR Project, Mr. Erdogan Ishakoglou, judge of the Supreme Court in Turkey, Mrs. Myrto Lambrou Maurer - Head of International Affairs at the Hellenic Organization of Industrial Property - Greece, Mr. Valon Kashtanjeva, Doctoral Candidate, Senior Expert, EU Project on IPR, Dr. Galatea Kapellakou, Lawyer, and Dr. Krystallenia Kolotourou, Lawyer.
The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants on the legal bases, international and EU standards for protection and implementation of intellectual property rights.
The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, followed by practical cases.
Beneficiaries of this training are: judges from Commercial court, judges and prosecutors from the Basic level as well as other legal professionals from other institutions such as police officers, legal officers from Kosovo Customs, legal officers from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
