Sub-module – Special procedures under the CPC, second session: Detention

On October 24, 2021, as part of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the ninth generation, group I, the theoretical training is being carried out under the module "Special Procedures according to the CPC" with the trainer engaged Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judges at the Court of Appeal.

In the framework of this first session, the topics being addressed are: detention for persons with mental disorders, imposing detention to minors with mental disorders, the special conditions that must be met to impose a detention to a person with mental disorders, leave or termination of the procedure due to the decision on the incapacity to go through trial, the implementation of the procedure for the imposition of the measure of compulsory psychiatric treatment, court decisions and the imposition and calculation of the measure of compulsory psychiatric treatment.

The training methodology is being implemented with practical cases as well as with the interactive method.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges, where two of them are from the Serbian community.
